The "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" was signed into law on February 17, 2009. According
to the ACT,
H.R.1 Section 4101, physicians who implement an EHR (Electronic Health Record) system
received stimulus payments.

Interoperability is a key component of EHR systems, as specified on the hhs.gov website.  Interoperability is
defined by the HHS as "ensuring that system can connect to, and exchange information with, other systems".
Tele Comm has been involved in EHR systems for several years, and interoperability is built into the core of our
TCXMED software. Many of our clients have implemented EHR systems that are working together with our
software to bring their offices to maximum efficiency and a totally paper-less environment.  Tele Comm can
help an office purchase, lease, or rent any piece or all of the system, including hardware and software.
Furthermore, Tele Comm can provide the critical support that is necessary to insure that the system continues
to perform with an absolute minimum of down time.

Tele Comm provides information on EMR systems that is free of bias or prejudice.  The links below are to
government web sites that provide factual information, not sales pitch and hyperbole.  We provide this
information to assist Physicians in making the best EHR decisions.  For Physicians who are considering
purchasing an EHR software, Tele Comm provides a free consulting service.  We will attend an on-site or
on-line EHR software demonstration and assist the Physician in getting answers about critical features and
usability.
